Review by Legendary Sports Cars

The 996 911 Turbo S is a car that needs no introduction, a legend amongst supercar enthusiasts the world over. The Turbo S offers even more power and performance than a regular 996 Turbo.

The 996 generation 911 Turbo S was built solely in 2005 as a run out model before production ceased in late 2005 to make way for the 997 Carrera and Carrera S. Only 650 996 Turbo S’s were ever made.

The 911 Turbo S has been Porsches flagship model since the mid 90’s with the introduction of the 993 Turbo S. The Turbo S represents the pinnacle of what Porsche 911s are all about; superb steering feel coupled with sublime handling, power delivery and refinement. A genuine 911 Turbo S is always a rare sight on British roads, giving it far more kudos than a regular 911 Turbo.

The build quality of the 996 911 Turbo S is second to none, and the overall stance of the car is improved vastly over a standard 996 Carrera due to the wider rear arches, a hallmark of 911 Turbos dating back to the 80s.

This particular car is painted in Basalt Black, with Black hide (there are a number of extended leather packs that cover the vents, cupholders, seat backs, entire dash, and key area/hazard light area) The car features the desirable manual six speed box, which is metal gated and very satisfying to operate.

PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes) were standard on the 996 Turbo S, with callipers painted in an eye catching shade of yellow.

This project car has been subject to a meticulous money no object restoration using worldwide sourced genuine parts to ensure that in our view it is the definitive reference Turbo S.

Comes complete with a certificate of authenticity from Porsche GB Reading – confirming it’s a genuine 2005 996 Turbo S.
